Hope Names Director of Development

Williamsport, Pa. – Mackenzie Howe has been named director of development for Hope Enterprises. In this newly created position, Howe will work with Hope's president, executive management team and strategic planning committees to develop and execute Hope's annual fundraising plan, build and strengthen the organization's relationships with new and existing donors, oversee grant writing projects and develop communications strategies related to fundraising efforts. In addition, Howe will develop a planned giving program for Hope and represent the non-profit in the community to establish and maintain Hope's relationships and partnerships with local organizations and business leaders.

Howe joins Hope from the American Cancer Society in Corning, New York, where she worked in community development, cultivating corporate and community leaders, and developing income strategies for the organization. Previously, she was an enrollment manager for Elmira College in Elmira, New York. Howe's prior positions include those of account manager and brand representative for Southern Wine & Spirits in Pittsburgh and marketing and development specialist for Iadeluca Chiropractic Center in Erie.
A graduate of Edinboro University with a bachelor's degree in communication and media studies, Howe holds a master's degree in education and corporate and community education from Elmira College. Howe also has received advanced certification in training of trainers and certification in human resource development.
